Note: These exhaust designs are specifically for the n/a models. The bore size is specific, as is the packing density and materials. If you’re planning a future Supercharged/Turbocharged install – you MUST upgrade the exhaust to a larger bore – 2.5”/63.mm.

I’m often asked how I, as a one-man business, have managed to avoid the droning/cracking problems being experienced by other larger, (much larger!) manufacturers. But, I did encounter these problems, the droning and the cracking, and I fixed them.

It’s called R & D.


Thru-Diffuser System Options:

6x18 & 7x24

Option A: 6”dia x 18”. This weighs 7Kgs. On the second cam, it has the most exciting F1-type scream I’ve ever heard on a road car. At 104 dbs, its days are numbered for the UK Trackdays. Perfectly liveable with on an everyday basis though.

Option B: 7”dia x 24”. This weighs 8Kgs. The future for any UK Trackday enthusiast. A drive-by reading of 92-94dbs. As with all my 2bular exhausts, this is a Straight-Thru design, so be assured, it still has a wonderful, deep, Sports-Car exhaust note. Perfect for owners who put in a lot of Motorway driving.

Option C: 8”dia x 24”. This weighs 8.7Kgs. Now, this may be a bit of overkill for the 111R/S2 Exige owner. However, there’s some owners who would love this exhaust note. On the second cam, it has the most amazing howl. It has a bigger bore than the other Elise systems, so I usually recommend this one for owners planning a Supercharger upgrade! You need to trim the heat-shield behind the number-plate and open up the diffuser exit hole to fit this system.
