PERFORMANCE:These 2bular exhaust designs are specifically for the Supercharged Exige S/Elise SC models.
NOISE:The large, open chamber in the very heavy std system wipes any character from the exhaust note. By comparison, a straight-thru design, like the 2bular, has a wonderful exhaust sound; a deep, bassy note on acceleration, rising to a real howl at the top-end but with the 8”dia 2bular, it’s quiet on cruise, so you can still have a conversation/phone call at motorway speeds.
LAYOUTS Thru-Diffuser Systems:8”dia x 22” Oval system; Owners looking for a Sports Car sound with no drone and discrete noise levels at Motorway speeds, this is the system for you. The rear grilles stay in place, there’s no cutting/profiling of the numberplate heat-shield required. The oval tip exits the diffuser panel same a std. THE CAR LOOKS LIKE STD, BUT NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE IT LOOKS!
I am sometimes asked to make a Thru-Diffuser system for the supercharged installs with the 111R twin-tip tailpipe layout, I can do this but it adds an extra 1Kg (2.2lbs) and costs an extra £24 + Vat* Lead time: 2 weeks for the Oval tip, 3 weeks for the twin tip.

Thanks to the use of lightweight pipework on the Thru-Diffuser design, they both weigh the same – 7.7Kgs. For comparison, the smaller 5”dia, Lotus Stg2 n/a system alongside, weighs 8.1Kgs!
