I’ve seen two different systems on these cars as std. The Stainless with the Titanium wrap (you didn’t think it was all-Titanium, did you) – made by Blueflame. And the Stainless system with the Carbon wrap – made by Janspeed.
If the Ti wrapped system has been used on trackdays, it will usually have burst the Ti skin. Probably because the internal volume of the system isn’t large enough to handle the pressure at max revs – anyway, I’ve seen a few split and NO! I don’t repair them.
For most owners with the VHPD K-Series engine, the 2bular 7”dia x 24” is adequate. It is straight-thru, allows the engine to breathe and meets most trackday noise limits. Some owners, maybe having to meet stricter noise limits or with a Honda conversion, opt for the 2bular 8”dia x 24” system. This has the necessary 2.5” bore and has been passed noise-wise at most UK circuits. If you really want to make a noise, the 6”dia x 18” is the one.
Given the size/positioning of these systems, you will have to remove the small alloy panel found under the exhaust. I use lightweight bends from the Cat pipe flange up to the system. There’s plenty of adjustability and there’s no lighter system on the market.

Every year I do a crazy one-off – just to keep my hand in. Invariably, it involves a Honda install(!). Here’s my 2010 piece of insanity – at least it shows what a PROPER manifold/header for the n/a K20 should like. A 4-2-1, linked 1&4, 2&3 with a decent length to the primaries and matched secondaries. That’s a 2bular 130mm dia Sports Cat – it will handle the expected bhp.
