R&D never stops. I’ve designed a shorter/lighter header – replacing what was the shortest/lightest on the market!
SC owners know the 2bular 4-1 allows full power/torque on their installs, this new design just helps that little bit more. I’ve been working on the new 2bular Titanium 4-1 and decided to incorporate the changes into the Stainless one too.
The 2bular 4-1 header was the first on the market and is probably fitted to more hi-power 2zz-ge SC installs

- Made from lightweight Stainless Steel to handle the heat of the SC install. Heat degradation on a mild steel header doesn’t bear thinking about
- Fully welded/sealed 4-1 collector. Keeps Lambda readings stable. A race-style slip-on with springs is a definite no-no!
- Headers have a flanged fitting to the Sports Cat. Again, it’s important to keep the Lambda readings stable – no slip-joins here, another no-no
- Lambda boss (with plug) is welded to the Header for fitment of a Wide-Band sensor when mapping or for real-time monitoring
- 2bular Headers/De-Cat Pipes have a proper flexible section. Given the engine/transmission movement on these cars, it’s vital. Having supplied exhausts to some 2-eleven racers this year, I’ve seen some VERY expensive headers snap just out of the head flange – not enough flexibility – poor design
- V-Band connectors are an option
