My 7”dia GT3 Titanium/Stainless system.

Featuring a Titanium skin with lightweight Stainless pipework and an 89mm dia Titanium tip. This is a RE-PACKABLE system, weighing 4.6Kgs – with a 7”dia it offers reasonable silencing levels, depends on power output!

I flame-coloured the example above but that’s optional!

2bular 300 series Header/System

The 2bular 4-1 header for supercharged installs is a well-proven design, used on many hi-power motors here in the UK and overseas. Running with the 2.5”dia system, it regularly gives a 30bhp increase when mapped/re-flashed. Now, with the appearance of the Pro-Alloy charge-cooler, I’ve seen another 20bhp gain on top! Some owners are looking for even more power and using a smaller drive pulley, bigger injectors, more powerful fuel pump, outputs are approaching 300bhp. For me, the limit of the std 2bular 4-1 and its 2.5” system is approx 270bhp (at the wheels).

With a supercharged install, bore is everything. Last year, I was commissioned to build a header/system for a planned 350bhp motor. I went for a 2” primary and a 3” system – with a good map, the end result was 385bhp(at the wheels) and 227ft/lbs torque. I’ve seen similar results on a Harrop supercharged VX220. With the smaller bore, the motor would have been strangled, using a lot of its power to pump that extra gas and increasing operating temperatures – not good.

300 series Header/System
However, a 3” bore is a bit big for a motor giving 300bhp – noise control is lost and I like to maintain the gas-speed in the system. So, enter the 2bular 300 series; this header has the 1.875”dia primaries but feeds a 2.75”dia collector and system. It bridges the gap between the std 2.5” and the 3” system. Aimed squarely at the hi-end of the market, it has all the features of an out-and-out race system. V-Band connectors for easy dismount and a RE-PACKABLE silencer.
